This post from MiniTool will introduce what YouTube live redirect is and how to use live redirect on YouTube.

What Is Live Redirect

Live streaming is becoming more and more popular on mainstream social media platforms. It’s a great way to interact with your viewers and subscribers. YouTube has rolled out a new Live Redirect feature that is similar to Twitch Raids.

Live redirect on YouTube allows live streamers to redirect their viewers to other channels. As soon as your live stream ends, the YouTube autoplay feature will send your audience to the Premiere or other live stream of your choice. Using the YouTube Redirect feature, creators can boost each others’ views.

Creators who satisfy these requirements can access the YouTube redirect feature. The creators must own more than 1000 subscribers on their YouTube channels and no active community guideline strikes.

Be aware that if you want to send your viewers to another creator’s live stream or Premiere, that channel needs to give you permission from YouTube Studio. Similarly, you must approve before other channels can send their viewers to your stream.

You can set up a live redirect in YouTube Studio for scheduled live streams, or in the Live Control Room when your live stream ends.
