• Videos. Creators can put links to products in a product shelf below videos. Or merchants can embed videos in your Shopify store.
• Live streams. Creators can display products during a live stream. And it allows picture-in-picture playback, thus viewers can watch the live stream while they are paying.

This integration gives a chance for YouTube creators to be merchants, and Shopify merchants can be creators as well. However, it has some requirements for YouTube creators’ channels.

How to Connect YouTube Channel to Shopify

To connect your YouTube channel to the Shopify store, you need to use the Google Channel within your Shopify additional tools, then you will be able to activate YouTube Shopping, and connect your YouTube channel to display products from your Shopify easily.

You should follow these steps:

Step 1. Visit the YouTube site and log in to your account. Then, set up a YouTube channel if you don’t have one before.

Step 2. Sign in to your YouTube Studio within your account.

Step 3. In the next screen, select the Monetization option from the left menu.

Step 4. Click on Shopping, select Shopify as your store, and tap on CONTINUE.

Step 5. Then, you will be taken to the Shopify page. Sign in to Shopify and click on Add App to add the Google Channel to Shopify.

Step 6. Click Add Sales Channel, and sign in by tapping Connect Google account.

Step 7. Confirm all the requirements on the next page, including payment method, online store, refund policy, and terms of service.

Step 8. Add your Google Merchant Center account. Then, agree to Google’s terms of service and conditions and tap on Complete setup.

At this point, your accounts have connected, and we will sync your Shopify products to your YouTube channel.

Step 9. Click Get Started on the next screen. Then, check if your channel meets the requirements and tap Continue.

Step 10. Select your target channel.

Step 11. Finally, read and agree to the YouTube Shopping terms of service and click Complete Setup.

After finishing the setup process, you can see the Channel Monetization page. Whereas, you need to wait for a few days for approval. Once it was approved, your products will appear on YouTube and you can tag your products on the store tabs, videos, and live streams.
