How to Set Up YouTube Merch Shelf

If you’re eligible for YouTube merch shelf, you can start to set up it on YouTube. To do this, you need to follow these steps:

Step 1. Choose one of the approved merchandising partners like Teespring and Crowdmade.

You can create and sell various types of products, such as T-shirts, mugs, hoodies, posters, etc. Make sure you follow their guidelines and policies for quality and content.

Step 2. Link your YouTube channel to your merchandising partner account.

Simply go to YouTube Studio > Monetization > Merchandise and click on Get Started. You will be prompted to sign in with your merchandising partner account and grant permission to access your YouTube channel.

Note:
If you can’t see the Merchandise option in this step, it is probably because you are not eligible to sell merch on YouTube.

Step 3. Select the products you want to display on the merch shelf.

You can select up to 30 items from the merchandising partner’s catalog. You can also change the order of items by dragging and dropping them

Step 4. Choose the videos for which you want to enable the merch shelf.

You can do this by going to YouTube Studio > Videos and selecting the desired videos. You can also utilize the bulk edit feature to apply the merch shelf to multiple videos at once.
